    Bill's Beer Run 2017 - SOLD OUT In-Store Event

    SOLD OUT! Bill's Beer Run is the annual fundraiser for the Manasota Track Club (MTC) and race #9 in the New Balance / MTC Racing Series. In its 29th year, proceeds help fund college scholarships and youth running programs. Since the program's inception the MTC has raised more than $83,000 and awarded it to area students. In 2016, Bill’s Beer Run generated more than $27,000 in proceeds for the MTC. Packet Pick Up on Friday, Oct. 27th from 4-7pm at FLEET FEET SPORTS SARASOTA, 711 S. Osprey Ave., Sarasot AND on Saturday, October 28th from 10am to 1pm at New Balance Sarasota, 1872 Stickney Point Road, Sarasota.

OPEN to all ages & ability levels–runners & walkers. This out & back loop course runs thru the local neighborhood, over the South Bridge onto Siesta Key Beach & back. TEAM NEW BALANCE members follow up w/ runners/walkers on the route. Come run/walk by yourself or w/ family & friends. RSVP for chance to WIN a $25 gift certificate and raffles. GPS marked out & back 5K route complete with Digital Clock for timing. Store open for Bathrooms & Water. We will see you for our FREE 5K Fun Run/Walk Series in 2018!

    Race #10 in the New Balance/Manasota Track Club Racing Series. This 20th annual road race benefits THE HAVEN for Adults and Children with Disabilities, Inc. Starting in 1997 with a little over 200 runners, the Jingle & Jog 5k has been a festive marquee event in the Sarasota community for two decades. With over 6,500 finishers of the event – time to ADD your name to the list! All funds raised by the event benefit the mission of The Haven, an established non-profit with a 60-year legacy of providing programs and services for children and adults with disabilities. Starting at The Haven’s beautiful campus nestled on 32-acres of lush Florida scenery; participants will experience a smooth course under the canopy of established oak trees.     The 41st Annual Sandy Claws Beach Run 5K and 1-Mile Fun Run takes place on Saturday, Dec. 9 on beautiful Siesta Beach, #1 beach in the USA! Set a fast pace on the hard-packed world-renowned white quartz sands or enjoy a leisurely stroll along the shore. This race, co-sponsored by Sarasota County Parks, Recreation and Natural Resources and chip-timed. 5K participants receive a is finisher medal; 1-Mile Fun Run participants receive a ribbon. Enjoy the post-race party with music, holiday-themed costume contest, raffle prizes, holiday photo op and food and beverages.
